SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit a Trading Operations Manager with dual brand responsibility. The Trading Operations Manager role will be a key figure within the Sportsbook team who acts as a representative of Sports Trading in the day to day working relationships with Finance, Marketing, Site Content and Product Development. In providing assistance and services to these functions you will influence the continued adoption of sound trading principals and ensure that the trading functions themselves remain aligned to the activities of the wider business.

Trading Operations Manager responsibilities:

  • You will lead the daily digital operational forums with the brand marketing teams, providing insight and updates to those teams on trading performance
  • Work alongside the Central Trading Product Owners to ensure that trading is able to facilitate and support all marketing led initiatives with the provision of appropriate product and pricing as agreed
  • In cooperation with the Brand teams, provide Operational sign off of all marketing customer communications (e.g. Press, CRM, PUSH etc.)
  • Facilitate the provision of a trading cost assessment of new bonus and promotion concepts
  • Work alongside the site content team to ensure all customer journeys are optimised and in line with current Brand guidance/focus
  • Coordination and delivery of all real time and daily trading summary commentary to the executive group
  • You will be commercially responsible for all third party commercial agreements in relation to site content and trading data feeds
  • Produce daily/weekly/monthly ROI analysis for all Sportsbook streaming relationships: RUK and ATR bet and watch, Perform and IMG sports streaming
  • In coordination with Trading Support, formalise the process by which the Central Trading teams consume and track third party data services
  • Alongside Finance and Trading Support, establish invoicing protocols for all third party data and streaming suppliers including trading P&L and Rev share (where applicable) for ROI purposes
  • With specific reference to Trading related elements, you will act on behalf of the customer in collating & prioritising feedback and driving operational and product changes to reduce customer friction
  • Represent the customer and their known user issues in all product roadmap discussions and decision making forums
  • Act as the conduit between Sportsbook Trading Operations and the Trading Development team to ensure alignment on all product development prioritisation

The Candidate

  • With experience of managing teams within a Sports Trading environment, you will be "at home" on the Trading floor
  • You will have previous experience of working collaboratively with delivery and product development teams
  • Previous experience of working within digital Sportsbook customer acquisition, retention and reactivation marketing would be beneficial
  • A strong articulator, you will be capable of communicating complex messages and influencing change within a matrix management structure
  • You possess a strong analytical mind capable of identifying and driving commercial benefits from data analysis
  • You will possess a comprehensive knowledge of sports coupled with an passionate, ingrained understanding of bookmaking and its terminology
  • As a passionate consumer of betting and gaming products
