The Service Improvement Analyst will be responsible for reviewing, improving & redesigning processes & service improvements across Technology & the Digital & Retail Business. The Service Improvement Analyst will carry out in-depth evaluation & verification of improvement initiatives, serving as a channel between the Digital & Retail Business & Technology - to ensure an understanding has been captured & benefits & value is clearly understood. The Service Improvement Analyst will be responsible for delivering the identified improvement initiatives with the support of the Service Improvement Manager.
Service Improvement Analyst Duties will include but are not limited to (please ask for full job description):
- Lead process improvement initiatives across Technology, the Business & in conjunction with suppliers
- Deliver efficiencies & benefits
- Present findings & recommendations to sponsors & key stakeholders
- Challenge stakeholders to maximize opportunities from process improvement initiatives
- Promote & develop a continuous improvement culture across the business
- Champion the needs & benefits by utilizing a structured approach to business process improvement
- Identify improvement opportunities & manage improvement requests
- Document & monitor business & Technology processes, business rules, metrics & standard operating procedures as a result of improvement initiatives
- Deliver process improvement training to staff
- Facilitate & provide specialist process improvement advice to business units via targeted workshops to identify & resolve specific issues that are critically impacting business outcomes &require urgent resolution
- Create & develop functional requirements to improve quality & service
- Manage the project of delivering the improvement initiative
- Monitor changes to baseline requirements with the use of effective application of change control processes & tools
- Must be able to travel to office locations globally
Service Improvement Analyst Skills & Experience Required:
- Excellent knowledge in either Lean & or Six Sigma. Green or black belt beneficial
- Preferably ITIL qualified or at minimum functional knowledge of one or more ITIL or similar processes
- Proven track record of quality process improvement
- Experience defining, documenting & validating business requirements
- Experience facilitating & supporting business change & influencing others across the business of the need to change
- Experience in the design, preparation & delivery of facilitated workshops, applying a range of tools & techniques
- Analytical skills & experience in using modelling tools (such as Visio, or similar)
- Project planning & project management methodologies
- Ability to develop the process & procedures improvement skill set
- Demonstrable record of applying best practice & a customer centred approach
- Broad knowledge & practical experience of Business Analysis techniques
