Senior Project Manager, Engine Development | Salary £46,000 + benefits package | Automotive Drivetrain | United Kingdom

SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit a Senior Project Manager by one of the leading names in automotive drivetrain sector based in the, UK. The successful candidate will join a company working on the development of innovative automotive solutions in conjunction with partners across the automotive sector.

Senior Project Manager Responsibilities:

I'm looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with experience of leading a small team to handle a budget of £500,000 per year. You'll need to:

  • Track deliverables including number of new products released, budget indicators, gate status, and time to market
  • Define the project portfolio content whilst assuring adherence to PPP Process requirements across own projects and portfolio as a whole
  • Deploy new products to market by working with the Product Expert group, Voice of Customer portfolio, and Sales & Applications Engineers
  • Develop a strong external partner network in both the commercial and academic worlds

Senior Project Manager Requirements:

You will have a proven background in Project Management and Team Leadership in the field of Automotive Development Engineering. Additionally, you will:

  • Have experience of leading a small team
  • Be knowledgeable of how an internal combustion engine works
  • Have a background in materials science and a proven ability in leading R&D projects, particularly of materials within the Bearing and Bushing technology sectors
