SRG Europe are working with one of the Big 4 who are looking to recruit a new Senior Auditor for their expanding commercial audit team. The firm are looking to appoint an auditor to come in at a senior level, with prior experience of managing a small audit team as well as being fully qualified in ACCA or equivalent.

This Senior Auditor role is based in the busy Leeds office and requires someone with a strong, proven track record within audit. This firm are able to offer market leading salaries with annual pay reviews and quick progression for someone who is determined to succeed.

Audit Senior Responsibilities:

• Full Audit review work.
• Support, train and develop a small team of junior audit staff.
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with government legislation.
• Supervising and guiding more junior members of the team.
• Ensuring client and statutory deadlines are routinely met and exceeded.
• Reporting directly to the Audit Manager to assistant with the investigation of all audit issues.
• Manage a large client portfolio with large annual turnovers.

Audit Senior Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification, preferably first time passes.
• 3+ years' experience within a Top 20 chartered accountancy practice.
• Experienced with IFRS/ UK GAAP.
• A proven track record of managing large commercial clients.
• Attention to detail to ensure high quality audit work.
• Competent in planning and completing the auditing of client accounts.
• Experience managing a team of junior staff members.
