Qualified Audit Senior - US GAAP | Salary £42,000-£49,000 DOE + benefits package | London based Chartered Accountancy Firm | London

SRGEurope are working with a London based chartered accountancy firm who are looking to appoint a Qualified Audit Senior to join their external audit team at one of their London offices. This is a great opportunity to gain experience with US GAAP as they have a large client portfolio of US companies.

The ideal candidate would come from a small chartered accountancy firm who is looking to make the next step in their career. This firm pride themselves on their work/life balance and the team's tight knit working relationships.

Audit Senior Responsibilities:

• Full Audit review work
• Support, train and develop a small team of junior audit staff
• Ensuring all work is carried out in compliance with government legislation
• Supervising and guiding more junior members of the team
• Ensuring client and statutory deadlines are routinely met and exceeded
• Reporting directly to the Audit Manager to assistant with the investigation of all audit issues
• Manage a large client portfolio with large annual turnovers

Audit Senior Requirements:

• ACA/ACCA qualified or equivalent qualification, part-qualified also considered
• Experience working at a chartered accountancy practice
• Experience applying IFRS/ UK GAAP / US GAAP
• Full audit review work; leading, planning and reporting on audits
• A proven track record of managing large commercial clients and delivering external audits
• Attention to detail to ensure high quality audit work
• Competent in planning and completing the auditing of client accounts
• Eligible to work in the UK, must hold an EU passport or a work visa
