SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit a Pre Event Trader to join a high profile and fast growing online gaming company with offices based in Gibraltar.

Pre Event Trader - Key Responsibilities:

• Trade betting events for football and all other sports; Monitor and manage respective liabilities to ensure risk is mitigated
• Compilation of odds for a wide variety of sport competitions in a timely manner
• Create and monitor betting markets and assist controlling risk so that optimum pre-event margin is achieved
• Ad hoc creating and managing additional specific markets according to sophisticated customers demand
• Monitor betting patterns to identify unusual behaviour and connote Risk evaluation need
• Liaise with customer service and assist them with their sportsbook related queries
• Liaising with IT Team in order to report any technical issues and developments for the business

Pre Event Trader - Requirements:

• High numerical ability and analytical skills
• Good mathematical skills including understanding of statistics and probabilities
• Excellent knowledge of sports betting
• Passion and knowledge for sports, especially soccer
• Ability to work under pressure and make quick, well informed decisions
• Desire and flexibility to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment
• Strong work ethic
• A degree in a quantitative discipline such as Finance, Statistics, Mathematics or Computing is considered an asset
• Business English skills, both spoken and written is a must. Fluency in German/Spanish will be considered an asset.
• Willing to work flexible time shifts
