Payroll Executive | Chartered Accountancy Firm | £Excellent salary + benefits + free parking, quick access to the M9 motorway | Grangemouth
SRGEurope is recruiting a Payroll Executive for an international Chartered Accountancy firm in Grangemouth. My client offers the chance to work with clients in a wide range of sectors within their superb offices in Grangemouth. This is an opportunity to join a growing team as a Payroll Executive to help support clients' accounting functions you will be processing client payroll information while submitting information to HMRC and other authorised organisations.
The Payroll Executive Responsibilities:
- Responsible for processing a range of different sized payrolls on a weekly, fortnightly, four weekly and monthly, basis
- Completing PAYE, NIC and other statutory payment calculations
- Liaising with clients, mostly by telephone
- Resolving any client, employee discrepancies or enquiries relating to payroll
- Working toward and meeting tight deadlines
The Payroll Executive Requirements:
- Previous payroll experience with a keen eye for detail and enjoy working within a team
- Bureau experience desirable
- UK payroll experience is essential
- Good working knowledge of current payroll legislation
- Ideally BTEC Payroll qualification
- Client service skills
- Strong numeric skills
- Understand the payroll deadlines & requirements
- Clear & concise communication, both written & verbal
- Ability to work on own & within part of a team
- Knowledge of UK Tax legislation
- Microsoft & Excel skills
