Network Team Lead | Competitive Salary + benefits including healthcare, pension and relocation | Gibraltar
SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit an experienced Network Team Lead to join a company in Gibraltar. The Network Team Lead will own/maintain the global network infrastructure.
Network Team Lead Responsibilities will include but not be limited to:
- Lead Network Engineering team & provide direction, instructions & guidance.
- Manage work flow of day-to-day operations.

Perform regular appraisal of team members.

Participate in cost analysis & budgeting.
-
Configure, maintain & monitor network equipment across globally distributed data centres.
-
Design, setup & configure complex switching environments.
-
Ensure network fabric security & availability.
-
Diagnose & resolve live operational issues.
-
Automate all of the above.
-
Manage routers, firewalls, switches, load balancers, security appliances.
-
Research & implement new technologies & products.
-
Participate in the Out-of-hours support rota.
Network Team Lead Requirements:
-
Previous experience in a Team Lead role is essential
-
Extensive experience as a Network Engineer (CCNA/CCNP).
-
EIGRP, OSPF, BGP, IP subnetting.
-
VLANs, STP, LACP, VPC.
-
Load-balancing local & global methodologies.
-
Security: Firewalls, DDOS mitigation, WAF, L1-7 defences.
-
VPN Technologies (GRE/IPSec/SSL).
-
Experience of cloud and/or containers.
-
SDN, IAC.
-
Agile practices.
-
Knowledge of DNS tampering, IP blocking.
-
Deep packet inspection & keyword filtering.
-
Automation tools & techniques.
-
Experience working in a large e-commerce organisation experience beneficial

Fluency in English is essential & candidates must hold UK/EU passport
