Lead Client Developer (Unity) responsibilities:
I'm looking for an expert Lead Client Developer with a 5 years' experience of working with Unity's 3D games engine. You will be asked to:
- Own and enhance the game's architecture, whilst agreeing and implementing all technical goals as assigned by the Technical Director
- Lead a small Agile team of experienced game client developers, and assign their workloads, conduct code reviews, and coach them technically
- Contribute daily to the code base
Lead Client Developer (Unity) requirements:
You will have a proven background in Unity 3D development, with at least 5 years of experience in the games development industry (AAA or F2P MMO) You will also have:
- Technically led or managed a game client team of any size
- Experience in developing 3D games using Unity
- Excellent understanding of programming principles, various common architectural approaches, and how common components work together
You will also:
- Have excellent C# skills
- Be a brilliant communicator, both verbally and in written form
- Have the ability to solve complex technical problems in large scale systems
