Junior SQL DBA | Remote UK only | SQL, ETL, AWS / Azure
The Role
SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit a Junior DBA to join a leading global technology group. As the Junior DBA, you will be a determined and proactive individual who is willing to develop their skills in a variety of technical disciplines. This role requires an analytical thinker who pays significant attention to detail in their work.

What You Will Be Doing
- Supporting existing databases and reporting platforms.
- Extracting data from bespoke applications and third-party products.
- Consolidating multiple data sources into a data warehouse or data lake.
- Working with senior DBA, ensuring data is accessible and structured in a way to facilitate reporting needs.
- Helping to set up dashboards and reports in data visualisation and reporting tools.
- Proactive monitoring and alerting.
- Implementing best practices.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
- Minimum of 1 year experience as junior DBA.
- End-to-end knowledge from product database to information visualisation.
- Some experience in AWS cloud technologies including AWS RDS, Glue, Redshift, Lambda etc will be beneficial.
- Some experience in Azure cloud data technologies beneficial.
- Understanding of relational database design
- Understanding of data extraction ETL/ELT/SSIS
- Good communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Comfortable working with staff at all levels.
- Ability to self-organise, prioritise and track tasks.
- Can work on their own or in a team.
- The successful candidate will be required to gain counter terrorism clearance (CTC).
