SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit 2 x Java Developers for an esteemed online gaming company to be based at their HQ situated in sunny Gibraltar. Our client has a reputation for leading innovation in the technology arena. The Java Developers will join a talented agile team of developers based in Gibraltar, where you will be using the latest cutting edge Java tools. Some relocation assistance will be offered to candidates living in the UK/EU who are looking to make their move to the vibrant and multi-cultural location.
Java Developer Responsibilities:
- Build and create quality software
- Take ownership of new features from conception to release
- Deliver high quality tested and high performing code
- Create and maintain software utilising best practices in a continuous integration and delivery environment
- Rewrite, refactor and perfect code
- Come up with solutions to problems
- Develop scalable and reliable applications for a distributed microservice environment
Java Developer Requirements:
- Candidates must hold a relevant EU OR UK passport or the right to work in Gibraltar
- 3+ years of professional development experience in java (preferably java 11)
- Spring-boot experience
- Service oriented architecture experience
- Ability to deliver high quality software
- Test automation tools and frameworks knowledge
- Continuous integrations and integration tools
- Cloud technologies (aws, docker, kubernetes, spring-cloud)
- Beneficial: Oracle; Hadoop; Kafka; spring-boot; ActiveMQ; Mongo; Kubernetes; Terraform; Ansible; Docker; Web-Sockets; Redis
