SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit an experienced Java Developer to join an exciting growing company in Gibraltar.
Java Developer Responsibilities:
- Create software used by customers globally.
- Own new features from conception to release, working with various teams in the company.
- Deliver tested, scalable, reliable and high performing code for a distributed microservices architecture.
- Creation and maintenance of high quality software
- Rewrite, refractoring and perfecting code as needed
- Work as part of a fast-paced environment, using cutting edge technologies.
- Learning through peer code reviews and innovation.
- Showcase your work, companywide, in internal tech sessions.
- Cloud technologies.
- The currect stack used includes:
- Java 8+
- Oracle
- Mongo DB
- Spring Ecosystem (spring-boot, spring-data, spring-integration, etc.)
- ActiveMQ
- Kafka
- Kubernetes, Docker
- Ansible
- Web-Sockets
- Hazelcast
Java Developer Requirements:
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Candidate must hold an EU/UK passport / Right to work in Gibraltar
- 3+ yrs working experience using Java (Java 8 preferred)
- Spring-boot
- Active MQ
- Hazelcast
- Service oriented architecture
- Knowledgeable of test automation tools & frameworks
