SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit a talented IT Desktop Support Specialist to join a fast growing and innovative online gaming company in the south of Spain. Our client is creative and has an incredibly cutting-edge technology environment.

As the IT Desktop Support, you will be responsible for providing 1st and 2nd level support for networks, servers, desktops, printers and mobile devices.

IT Desktop Support Specialist Responsibilities:

  • Providing 1st and 2nd level support, monitoring, debugging and escalation of issues to 3rd level as required
  • Troubleshooting issues with servers, desktops, laptops, printers and mobile devices
  • System monitoring to ensure continuous operation within required tolerances
  • Involvement in desk/PC move configurations
  • Undertaking root cause analysis and debugging to resolve issues where possible Assisting with problem management where required
  • Where necessary, work with the Infrastructure team and 3rd party vendors to determine resolutions
  • Resolving and acting upon issues raised by the business via the Service Desk as quickly and accurately as possible with a view to minimising outstanding support incidents
  • Involvement in projects where necessary while managing deadlines

IT Desktop Support Specialist Requirements:

  • EU passport is required to be eligible to work in Spain
  • Hands-on migration/deployment of Exchange 2010/2016 to Office 365 Azure-hosted solution
  • Proven experience of technical support, or IT Specialist role - preferably within a high-volume transaction environment
  • Awareness of ITIL - support and restore
  • Experience with supporting Microsoft desktop OE
  • Experience with administering and/or supporting printers and peripherals
  • Experience with administering and/or supporting Microsoft Servers (2012-2019)
  • Experience with administering and/or supporting migrations from On Prem to Office 365
  • Experience with administering and/or supporting MS Active Directory
  • Experience working with Office 365, providing support to end users
