DevOps Engineer | Cybersecurity | UK / London / Remote
The Role
DevOps Engineer required for a rapidly expanding Cybersecurity scale-up based in London. As DevOps Engineer you will be solving second-day mysteries like Sherlock Holmes with Kubernetes and Infrastructure as Code. You will also get the opportunity to work with a very attractive tech stack on a daily basis, such as ArgoCD, Terraform, Google, cloud, Argo Rollouts, Argo Events, GitHub Actions, Kubernetes, Helm Istio.

What You Will Be Doing
Run the production environment by monitoring availability and taking a holistic view of system health.
Build software and systems to manage platform infrastructure and applications.
Measure and optimise system performance, with an eye toward pushing our capabilities forward, getting ahead of customer needs, and innovating to improve continually.
Provide primary operational support and engineering for multiple distributed software applications.
Gather and analyse metrics from both operating systems and applications to assist in performance tuning and fault-finding.
Participate in system design consulting, platform management, and capacity planning.
Keep up to date with DevOps matters.
Be proactive in setting and achieving new and improved DevOps goals.
Get experience with ArgoCD and proper GitOps.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Proven experience in DevOps positions.
Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, Helm and GitOps.
Excellent knowledge and minimum of 3 years' experience with Linux and Kubernetes.
Ability to self-organise, managing several concurrent initiatives.
Hands-on experience of support distributed systems and applications, HA systems.
Experience with Cloud environments - GCP, Azure, AWS.
Experience with Terraform and its plugins.
Knowledge of core technologies and relevant tools: DNS, TCP, Linux, Postgres.
Knowledge of IaM roles and permissions for cloud would be a plus.
Knowledge of building release pipelines for Microservices, software bundles, and GitHub Actions is a plus.
