SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit an experienced Database Architect to join a high profile and fast growing company with offices in the United Kingdom and Spain. Our client is dynamic, creative, and has an incredibly talented work-force.
Database Architect Responsibilities:
- Designing & building data models & database oriented applications
- Assist with SQL and database related code reviews
- Analysis of database performance issues & providing improvement suggestions
- Participate in architecture reviews and technical design meetings
- Keep abreast of new trends & technologies in database-related area
- Create proofs of concept for adopting new technology into our products
- Revise database development best practices
- Train software developers for query tuning & efficient database development
- Define database maintenance guidelines
- Define & own database performance monitoring in production environments
- Support solving complex database issues (in some cases take client DBA calls)
- Assist teams solving database issues in production environments
- Mentor Software Developer Engineers of all levels
Database Architect Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role
- SQL
- Fluent English - Written and Spoken
- Hold the right to work in the UK or Spain
