The Role
SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit an experienced Commercial Company Accountant for an established Commercial Office based in the thriving jurisdiction of Gibraltar. The role might best be described as working for a private office within a larger Firm. Ideal candidates will be just recently ACCA qualified (or nearly), AAT qualified or similar and looking for the next step in their career.

What You Will Be Doing
To support the Senior Accountant with the preparation of the month end accounts and financial statements for the company
Manage the daily invoicing sales and purchase, ensuring the ledgers are kept up to date
Bank Reconciliations
Preparation of accruals and prepayments for month end accounts
Reconciliation of investment accounts and preparing NAV calculations
Assist with reports for Board Meetings
Medium to high levels of Excel for reporting
Any ad hoc duties that occur during the day
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Have a solid academic background, ideally a relevant Degree
Part or, nearly or newly qualified ACCA, ACA or CIMA or AAT
Strong attention to detail
Used to working to tight deadlines
Strong Microsoft skills particularly a good level of Excel
Excellent communication skills
