Broker Assistant - Oil & Gas| Attractive € Salary plus benefits | Marbella
SRGEurope are currently recruiting on behalf of our client, a long established trading company close to Marbella. The Broker Assistant will be sharp and numerical, native Spanish speaking with fluency in English. You will report to the Head of Brokerage and be part of a niche close-knit specialist team.
The Broker Assistant will ideally have some experience of working in a trading environment with some general compliance knowledge being viewed as a plus.
Broker Assistant Responsibilities are but not confined to:
- Inputting trades in exchange platform, preparing trade slips, sending business confirmation to clients and updating follow up files
- Updating on: client profiles, trading history, product databases, and all files related to the business
- Maintain office routine: contact of suppliers, remittance of documents etc
- Compliance duties including due diligence and KYC
- Other roles:
- Communicate with clients via ICE chat system, WhatsApp and e-mail
- Input orders in CME Direct system and operating CME and ICE exchange systems
- Prepare the list with the orders received/generated by the clients and keep Senior Broker updated
Broker Assistant Profile:
- Fluent Spanish and English - The team all speak native Spanish but you will also need strong English
- High numeracy - must have a real flair for numbers
- Confidence to deal with clients from different countries/cultures/mood
- Must live relatively locally to the Marbella area or be willing to relocate on receipt of job offer for start date
