SRG Europe have been appointed to recruit an Audit Manager to join one of the top performing firm's assurance teams. This firm pride themselves on their global reputation, and are therefore looking for an experienced Audit Manager to lead their expanding assurance team in their Birmingham office.

Audit Manager Responsibilities:

• Manage a portfolio of external audit clients on a day-to-day basis, including client liaison and technical issues management.
• Lead and coordinate the planning and management of assignments.
• Have a number of team members reporting directly into you, with the responsibility for their coaching, development and career progression.
• Ensure that key deadlines are met by the wider team whilst ensuring the technical correctness and presentational standards of all client deliverables.
• Business development tasks, such as building relationships and developing external network of business contacts.

Audit Manager Requirements:

• Hold ACA/ACCA/CA or an equivalent qualification.
• Have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience at audit manager level.
• Experienced in auditing large organisations and be confident interacting with senior level clients and management to develop and maintain business relationships.
• Experience leading the planning, execution and reporting on audits.
• Experience managing, developing and coaching a team of staff members.
• Have a proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships.
• Take a proactive approach to problem solving and delivering client solutions.
• Knowledge of SOX 404.
