The Role
SRGEurope have been appointed to recruit an Assistant Financial Controller for an established Insurance Services company based in the thriving jurisdiction of Gibraltar. To support the Financial Controller, to prepare all financial and reporting commitments across the company. The Assistant Financial Controller will ideally be ACCA or similar part qualified or AAT qualified.

What You Will Be Doing
Work alongside and report to the Financial Controller in the Gibraltar office
Support with preparation of quarterly and annual Solvency II reporting and ad hoc requests.
Support effectiveness of the internal controls over the financial reporting process for internal audit purposes
Assist with preparation of all regulatory and statistical filing across the European region, including but not limited to Solvency II, National Specific Templates, MIB, IPT, Flood-Re, MIA, CBM, on a quarterly and annual basis to be submitted within stipulated deadlines.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of accounting policies and procedures to comply with stakeholders' expectations.
Individual performance objectives will be set on an annual basis.
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Part qualified ACCA, CIMA or similar
Strong excel skills to assist with high level reporting
Excellent communication skills to liaise across the business
Team orientated, but also self-motivated to work on own projects
