SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit an experienced Application Integration & Support Engineer to join a company in Gibraltar.
Application Integration & Support Engineer Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive support for all Production & Back Office applications.
- Build & maintain relationships with software development team.
- Gain understanding of application architectures, required functionality & plan appropriate acceptance test scenarios
- Provide integration environment, technical knowledge & experience during planning, execution, & management of integrating new applications into the existing application environment
- Assist with identifying opportunities to enhance or improve business processes via integration, or, as necessary, minimize the impact of integration on those processes
- Develop in depth working knowledge of the systems components & configuration
- Cross training / knowledge transfer to other team members
- Improving end user's application awareness
Application Integration & Support Engineer Requirements:
- Fluency in English is essential.
- Experience of supporting / testing bespoke applications (finance sector experience ideal)
- Strong working knowledge of SQL Server & scripting
- Experience with XML constructs & Schemas
- Experience with API protocols & schemas such as SOAP & REST
- Experienced with business & technical requirements analysis, business process modelling/mapping & methodology development & data mapping
- Advanced Excel skills & analytical
