Advertising Director | Up To £45,000 Doe Plus commission | Content Marketing Agency Sector | London
SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit an Advertising Director who will be ultimately responsible for leading the advertising strategy across the sales team in order to surpass targets and generate new business across all multi platform opportunities. You will have the ingenuity and perception to deliver exceptional content and project solutions for this market leading content agency.
Advertising Director Responsibilities
- Drive agency, trade and client direct relationships to maximise revenue
- Design and propose creative solutions, sponsorship packages and advertorial ideas
- Mentor the sales team including on going coaching and development
- Work closely with the editorial and publishing teams to maximise revenue opportunities
- To have a detailed and current knowledge of the clients market and competitor activity
- Achieve minimum agreed number of meetings per week
- Attend client meetings and events
- To take responsibility for ad copy approval and dealing with administration issues that may arise
- Generate team reports industry/trend analysis
Advertising Director Requirements
- Delivering advertising revenue across a portfolio of titles
- To build and develop close relationships with core clients
- To draft, present and implement agreed strategy
- To produce weekly, monthly and quarterly issue based sales performance reports
- To manage the sales team on the portfolio
Advertising Director experience needed
- Excellent client handling skills, bring authority to the position
- Ability to influence agencies and direct clients
- Confident in creating and delivering presentations
- High level of attention to detail
