The Role
SRGEurope has been appointed to recruit for a Part Qualified Accounts Assistant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA or similar) for a long established Family Office in Gibraltar. The Office is expanding rapidly in certain key Investment areas, hence the Accounts Assistant role will be management accounts focussed and supporting the Lead Accountant and the Finance Director both based on site. You will ideally have experience in Banking or Financial Services, Investments and be able to demonstrate high level Excel skills.

What You Will Be Doing
Assisting with the preparation of Management Accounts for the multiple entities associated with the Office
Preparing journals, accruals and prepayments for posting to the ledgers
Posting invoices, Sales and Purchase ledger and ensuring Trial Balance is prepared for month end
Assisting with month end reporting for multiple entities
Assist with projects already in progress, looking at Return on Investments
Working closely with the Lead Accountant and the FD on a daily basis on any other tasks required
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Part Qualified, studying ACA/ACCA/CIMA or similar
Strong Excel skills for high level reporting
Seeking to achieve a career in Accounting
Excellent written and spoken English
Some banking or Financial Services experience ideal but not essential
