1st / 2nd line IT Engineer | IT / Telecoms | Liverpool (Onsite)
The Role
IT Engineer required for a company based in Liverpool. The IT Engineer role focuses on supporting customers on our desk daily including automated faults, customer reported faults, daily housekeeping duties along with larger Tier 3 run projects.

What You Will Be Doing
Responsible for supporting IT service delivery
Be a point of escalation for 1st line support
Be a point of escalation within the engineering team
Review workload ensuring delivery within projected timescales
Assist in the planning of workload
Be an escalation point for all P1 incidents
Offer guidance for solution implementation ensuring cost to best technology fit is provided to the business
What You Will Need to Succeed In This Role
Have strong planning, organisation, and monitoring abilities.
Enjoy a challenge, have excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate at all levels.
Have a high standard of numeracy.
Be computer literate.
Have strong written and verbal communication skills.
Have the ability to analyse and evaluate situations and implications, and make strategic decisions accordingly
Be able to demonstrate a step-by-step approach, to problem solving, that results in accurate, positive, and efficient results.
Have the confidence to give opinions and make decisions which may be unpopular and does not abdicate responsibility for the decision.
Have the ability to be decisive and make difficult decisions in a timely manner.
